Brian Ammons

Brian Ammons is an educator, spiritual director, writer, and ordained Baptist minister.  He lives and works in the intersections of gender, sexuality, spirituality, and justice.

Brian is an Assistant Professor of the Practice in Education at Duke University, co-pastor of Trinity’s Place, and a vowed brother in the Mercy of God Community (MGC).  He speaks frequently to church, community, and school groups about sexuality and Christianity; the problematic politics of identity; sexual violence in the church; men and masculinities; and pedagogy as spiritual practice.
